Daniel began dancing tango in 1997, studying with Christy Cote and Julian Miller Ramil. In addition to teaching tango, Daniel has been the artistic director for the San Francisco Tango Exchange (2006 -2009) and the Queer Tango Festival Shows (2009 – 2013). He started DJing with vinyl records at the Cellspace Alternative Milonga in 2004, where he still teaches, djs, and makes stuff. He is on the board of Project Tango and most recently directed “Women’s Stories” for Tango Confusion.
